Michael Palin Books

For the Michael Palin project we supplied a series of arched gates that pin together to form the carcass of the books. The covers were rolled Ali sheet with printed vinyl attached. These then Velcro’d to the arch gates. The book front was formed of a clad frame again with printed vinyl glued on. The book front also included a hidden door for Michael to emerge from at the start of the show. To finish the piece off there was a loose printed vinyl cover that velcro’d over the top of the arch frames to form the page ends.
