Reinhard Bonnke Farewell Campaign, Nigeria

Coming from Germany, Reinhard Bonnke started in Africa in 1967, now 50 years later he held his final farewell to Africa. Principally known for his gospel campaigns he has been an evangelist and missionary to Africa. Reinhard Bonnke has overseen 75 million recorded conversations to Christ.

The scene for his farewell was the city of Lagos in Nigeria. During the month of November hundreds of thousands of people attended to hear the evangelist for one final time. On the last day 750,000 people gathered for the climax meeting, with 1.7 million people in attendance over the five days of meetings. In addition, several million people watched an on-line livestream broadcast over the five days, as well as being broadcast by GOD TV.

This isn’t the end of Christ for all Nations ministry in Africa, evangelist Daniel Kolenda has been leading the ministry for several years, and continues to hold campaigns across the Africa continent. After many successful campaigns across West Africa, the ministry is once again returning to Nigeria. As well as holding campaigns in West Africa, Christ for all Nations is also busy in East Africa, where a second technical base is held.

For the Lagos event Christ for all Nations brought its two African based Sound Systems and technical equipment together. Additionally, new LYON loudspeakers were added to compliment the existing LEO, M3D & MICA line arrays along with 1100-LFC subs. Also, a compliment of MSL4 & UPA1-P loudspeakers performing various fill functions.

Two new large LED screens have been added to the system, supplied by XL/PRG UK, the Unilumin UPADIII system performed excellently adding a new dimension to the campaigns. Mounted on Total Solutions LED Towers – who have supplied all of Chris for all Nations Sound Tower support systems. SGM waterproof stage lights were added to compliment the visual display and stage presence.

Mixing console duties were handled by five DiGiCo SD9 mixing consoles over optocore fibre to DiGiCo SD Stage racks. Microphones were mainly Shure microphones with new Axient Digital handle-held microphones.

Sound System Control was Meyer Sound Galileo and Callisto processing.
