Superbeam Catwalk

The Superbeam catwalk system allows large loading capacities to be hung off the truss whilst allowing personnel to walk safely through the truss without the need for fall arrest systems. Free access between the truss sections is achieved by the use of special ribs enabling the top side of the truss to remain open.

The Superbeam catwalk system allows large loading capacities to be hung off the truss whilst allowing personnel to walk safely through the truss without the need for fall arrest systems. Free access between the truss sections is achieved by the use of special ribs enabling the top side of the truss to remain open. The floor of the walkway is split into hingable sections allowing access to the underside for focusing purposes. The catwalk system is fully compliant to current EU norms with full-height handrails, kickboards and knee level safety bars. ‘Door frame’ pickup beams allow for complete uninhibited access along the catwalk and the system is totally modular with pin jointed fittings for maximum strength and speed of construction.
