London Paralympics – The Apple

The Apple was another moving prop used in the London 2012 paralympic opening ceremony. As with all the props, it needed to move around the stadium floor easily and had a paralympian actor atop. The main object of the Apple was manufactured from inflatables with a stair lift mechanism through the middle and all mounted on a scenic book !
