Serious Light Duty Truss

Serious Light Duty Truss

Product.

Serious Light Duty has the same overall dimensions as Generic Light Duty but offers even greater load-carrying capacities and spans than the original. The use of thicker chords and diagonals increases the bending and shear strength of the truss, which is offered with Fork End connectors as standard. This truss is ideally suited to applications where ceiling height or truck space is limited. It is a popular solution for supporting general lighting with spans up to 14 meters.

Versatile.

This Serious Light Duty Truss is versatile enough to be used in a range of environments, from small-scale events and exhibitions to larger installations in theatres or concert halls. Its robust construction ensures reliable performance, even under substantial loads, making it an essential component for complex stage designs and intricate exhibition layouts.

The modular nature of the truss allows for easy customization and scalability, meeting the specific needs of each project while maintaining structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. The truss can be assembled and disassembled quickly, thanks to its user-friendly design, which requires minimal tools and expertise.

High Quality.

Furthermore, the Serious Light Duty Truss is designed with durability in mind. The high-quality materials used in its construction ensure that it can withstand the rigors of frequent assembly and disassembly. This makes it a cost-effective and long-lasting solution for event organizers and production companies.

Incorporating the Serious Light Duty Truss into your setup not only enhances the visual appeal of your event but also provides a reliable and stable framework for your equipment. Whether you’re setting up a small stage for a local performance or designing an elaborate set for a large-scale production, this truss system offers the flexibility and strength needed to bring your vision to life.

Fork end connections

The serious range of TFL products uses fork ends and pins as the connection method. This allows for a better transfer of load between sections and as such allows for a greater load carrying capacity then is plated counterpart. This makes it suitable for more demanding applications where heavier equipment or larger spans are required. The serious range of products are designed with the same high-quality materials and craftsmanship, ensuring reliability and durability in diverse settings.

Serious Light Duty, SLD, Trussing System

The TFL serious range was a response to ever increasing load requirements for aluminium trussing. This innovative approach simplifies and speeds up the assembly process by requiring only basic tools for a swift and secure setup.

Key Benefits of the Fork End System

Fork end connections are a popular choice for aluminium trussing in the live events industry due to several key features:

  1. Ease of Assembly: Fork end connections generally consist of a female set of fork connectors on one side and a male set on the other. (Slick Nova beam and Nova Lite products combine both types on one end). This design allows for quick and straightforward assembly, as the modules can be easily slotted together and secured with truss pins by means of a truss hammer.
  2. Strength and Stability: These connections provide a robust and stable joint, which is crucial for supporting heavy loads such as lighting, sound equipment, and digital displays. The secure fit ensures that the truss structure remains stable even under significant weight.
  3. Versatility: Aluminium trussing with fork end connections can be used in various configurations, including straight segments, corners, and curved elements. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from stage setups to exhibition booths.
  4. Lightweight and Durable: Aluminium is known for being lightweight yet strong, making it an ideal material for trussing. The use of fork end connections does not compromise the truss’s overall durability, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of frequent assembly and disassembly.
  5. Aesthetic Appeal: The clean and professional look of aluminium trussing with fork end connections adds to the visual appeal of event setups. This is particularly important in the live events industry, where the appearance of the stage and equipment can impact the overall experience

These features make fork end connections a reliable and efficient choice for aluminium trussing in the live events industry, providing both practical benefits and aesthetic advantages.

Typical Applications for the Serious Light Duty System
