November Total Training Update

Now that the industry is ramping up towards the Christmas season, naturally enough training activity diminishes slightly – leaving more time for attending committee meetings, when not planning 2018 and working on projects with the rest of the TSG team. The three day course is already booking into March 2018 and our 20th anniversary of providing rigging training at Total Solutions.

Nethertheless, we’ve been busy delivering two courses at Malvern Theatres, our 3 day courses as usual as well as providing a bit of mentoring for London based Carl Opera. Chris has also been at the Barbican Concert Hall recently helping the technical team develop a system of work for technicians rigging and de-rigging the Barbicans expensive moving lights on their FOH bridges.

In between attending the HSE’s bi-annual JACE meeting (Joint Advisory Committee for Entertainment), SAGE group and the ABTT safety committee we’ve taken bookings for January from Evil Angels Rigging in Lisbon, the Federation of Scottish Theatre and Scottish Ballet in February. December will include delivering two courses in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and an inspection course for Centre Stage Engineering.
